Creating a wallet

1. To initiate the creation of a new wallet, tap on "Create Wallet" upon launching the Mirage Wallet app for the first time.

2. Subsequently, you'll encounter a screen where you can input a name for your wallet and receive a 12-word seed phrase. Safeguard this seed phrase in a secure location, ensuring it remains confidential. Losing this phrase will result in irreversible wallet loss, and sharing it compromises your wallet's security.

3. On the following page, you'll be prompted to enter two randomly selected words from the previously generated seed phrase as a verification step.

4. The subsequent display will showcase your newly generated wallet address, commencing with "0x...".

5. Your wallet is now generated. Establish a custom password with a minimum of 6 characters to securely encrypt your seed phrase on your device.

6. Mirage Wallet is ready for use! You can either transfer funds to your address or make a direct purchase by clicking the "Buy" button.

Importing a Wallet with an Existing Seed Phrase:

1. If you possess a seed phrase from Mirage Wallet or other wallets like Metamask, you can import it into Mirage to regain the same address and restore all your assets. Select "Import Wallet" upon opening Mirage Wallet and input your existing 12-word or 24-word seed phrase.

2. Proceed to follow steps 4-6 from the new wallet creation process. Your wallet with the same address and successfully imported assets will now be accessible on Mirage Wallet.
